Screening for Plagiarism
Al-Manarah; Journal of Education and Islamic Studies is committed to maintaining the originality and scientific integrity of every manuscript published. To uphold this standard, all submitted manuscripts undergo a comprehensive plagiarism screening before entering the peer review stage. This screening is conducted using reliable plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin or iThenticate, along with other supporting tools, to identify potential textual similarities or indications of plagiarism from other sources.
The maximum similarity threshold tolerated by this journal is 25%, provided that there is no substantial plagiarism or unauthorized reproduction of ideas and structures from other scholarly works. If the screening results indicate a high level of similarity, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision or rejected outright, depending on the severity of the violation.
In addition to technical checks using software, the editorial team also performs manual evaluations to ensure that there is no idea plagiarism, uncredited citations, or unauthorized use of concepts from other works. Authors are expected to accurately cite all sources and are fully responsible for the originality of their scientific work.
Through this policy, Journal Al-Manarah is committed to being a reputable publication platform that upholds ethical standards, ensures high-quality scholarship, and remains free from any form of plagiarism.
